At the meeting with reporters the Head of the Republic of Crimea said that the development of a gambling zone will be funded by the Russian investor with whom one can meet at a public hearing, where he will present the gambling zone project.
At the last meeting with reporters Sergey Aksyonov, the Head of Crimea, turned in information about the investor who will be engaged in the development of the gambling zone in Crimea. According to him, many investors expressed their wish to participate in the development of a gambling zone on the peninsula of Crimea, however he refused to name them.
We negotiated only with those investors who are in the Russian legal field, and that is why the Russian company will invest in the gambling zone,
— said the Head of the Republic of Crimea.
The investor has already prepared a project proposal, which he will present at the public hearing in the nearest future. The gambling zone is planned to be constructed in Yalta district, on the territory of the “Pearl” resort.
It is worth mentioning that on July 4, 2014 the Russian government made an amendment to the Law on Gambling. According to the amendments, gambling zones will be created on the territory of the peninsula of Crimea and Sochi.
