On March 14, 2016 the Russian “Liga Stavok” bookmaker officially opened one of the first off-track betting shops (BP) under the license of the JSC “Rosippodrom”.
The first in Moscow licensed by “Rosippodromy” off-track betting shop was opened on March 14, 2016 by the “Liga Stavok” betting company. Now, everyone who feels like it can place a bet on horse racing events without visiting the racetrack. Horse racing bets are accepted on events in Russia and abroad. New betting shop was opened in the “Erevan Plaza” shopping centre.
In 2015 the JSC "Rosippodromy" signed a cooperation agreement with the French horse racing betting company PMU. This company is one of the largest in Europe, which organizes betting on horse-racing events. This cooperation has allowed the JSC "Rosippodromy" to give the Russian players an opportunity to bet on international events, which are broadcasted from more than 10 countries. Players can win up to 300 mln RUB (4.3 mln USD) at the bet of 150 RUB (2.1 USD). The company also signed agreements with such operators as GBI Racing (UK and Ireland Races), Fintoto (Finland), Phumelela (SAR). "Rosippodromy” wants to open a few more betting shops in other regions of Russia.
The JSC "Rosippodromy" was established in 2011 by the Presidential Decree to develop the horse breeding industry and create a system of national horseracing betting.
